Downtown Los Angeles theatre company seeking

ILLUSTRATORS/ARTISTS

to create near life-size two-dimensional
head & torso's of historic figures
for installation project at the historic
Los Angeles Theatre Center (the LATC).

Some historical figures significant in
Black Theatre/history
would be great.

Figures will complement theatrical production
previewing 09.22.10 and running through the end of October
and will need to be in place on or before September 20, 2010.

THE RECKONING by Kimba Henderson
developed through the Robey Theatre Company's
playwrights program
will be directed by Ben Guillory

Set today in rural Louisiana, the play explores
two families' claim to one aging plantation.

A genteel Black family controls the operations;
a jealous White family dominates the action.
