The Printshop's classes for adults offer instruction in myriad printmaking techniques, traditional, as well as new and experimental.

Our faculty is comprised of accomplished artists and experienced master printers with outstanding expertise in printmaking. They offer technical expertise, as well as creative advice for your new artwork. Our instructors will help you turn your ideas into quality prints.

Our classes are appropriate for beginners who wish to discover the world of printmaking, as well as artists interested in exploring new techniques. Many of our courses can be repeated, as there is a great deal of one-on-one interaction with faculty.

Classes are held in the Printshop's spacious Artists' Studio. Participation is limited to 10 students, unless otherwise noted. The Printshop provides all tools and basic materials. While sample paper is provided for proofing, editioning paper is the responsibility of the students. Special class requirements are noted with each class; in most cases no materials are required at the first class. Just bring your ideas!

Free Studio Time
Free studio use is available to students during each class. You can use the studio for 2 hours per class session (total of 12 hours for an 6-week class, or 16 hours for a 8-week class).
Single session class participants do not receive free studio hours.
Free studio time is available from the start of the course, and may be used up to the Sunday after the last class session. Studio access for students is available Monday - Friday from 10am - 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 6pm.
Free studio time cannot be used after the class is over, and it is not transferable to other times or persons.
