Exceptional Children's Foundation, a growing nonprofit social service
agency serving clients with developmental disabilities throughout LA
County, is seeking an experienced, full-time Program Supervisor for our
downtown Los Angeles art center. The ECF Art Center Programs is a
department of the Exceptional Children's Foundation that nurtures adult
artists (18 years and up) with intellectual disabilities. We are
seeking a candidate who has extensive applied art knowledge in any one
of the disciplines: Ceramics, Printmaking or Painting. If you are a
Ceramicist or Printmaker you should have a basic knowledge of Painting
and Drawing. Also required is: knowledge of contemporary western art
(mid century -- present); supervisory experience; organizational skills,
and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be personable and
comfortable working with developmentally disabled adults.
