Audition-Male and Female Dancers (Los Angeles)

Louise Reichlin & Dancers/La Choreographers & Dancers is auditioning
this month for the 2011-2012 Season.
When: Sunday June 26th @ 
 10 am


Where: Brockus Dance Studio, 
 618B Moulton Ave, Los Angeles CA
90031

Paid performances and associated teaching activities. Rehearsal
honorarium.

Dancers should have modern, strong ballet and jazz background, strong
stage presence, expressiveness, musicality, and technique. Floor work is
important. All ethnic types.
If selected to be a part of our dance troop, rehearsal times are Sunday
10-1, Tues 10-1 and Thurs 10-1.

Performances next season include our first New York tour of "The
Patchwork Girl of Oz."

We are also casting for 3 specific roles:

1. Patchwork Girl--- Female dancer needed for concert work to play the
title role from "The Patchwork Girl of Oz." Dancer must be tall,
exuberant, and have technical/contemporary dance background.

2. Woozey/Princess Ozma--- Small, athletic female dancer needed to play
Woozey/Princess Ozma from "The Patchwork Girl of Oz." Dancer must have
technical/contemporary dance background.

3. Scarecrow--- Male or female dancer needed to play the Scarecrow from
"The Patchwork Girl of Oz." Dancer must be strong and have
technical/contemporary dance background.
4. Unc Nunkie/Shaggy Man---Can be male or female (female version is Aunt
Nunkie etc. )Needs to balance in Yoga headstand. Dancer must be strong
and have technical/contemporary dance background.
