Inspired by the philosophy of Jacques Rancière and based on the unique experience of French artist Raphaële Bidault-Waddington (see her personal art lab: www.liid.fr) who will personally conduct the program, this experimental lab is dedicated to committed artists searching to gain real autonomy by understanding and developing the various values implicit in their work.

The program is also open to professionals in the research and innovation sector interested in collaborating with artists while understanding and respecting most advanced and research-based art practices.

Students will be guided through the investigation and development of their own Art-Based research and innovative potentials, whether they are in the direction of the urban, economical, technological, educational, political or social sphere.

Because research and innovation practices are so vast, the program will offer a mad trip through thematic workshops where each student, whatever his/her medium and background, is invited to explore his/her potentiality and start prototyping their new ideas with projects or collaborations, and including the related negociations to handle.
