CCMHT Artist/Scholar Residency 2012 Applications

The residency is a week long stay at the Kugel/Gips House in Wellfleet for
artists and scholars whose work relates to the story of the modern movement,
the mid-20-century creative convergence on Outer Cape Cod or the Cape's
particular landscape. Residency availability for 2012 is the weeks of May
20-27, June 3-10 and the last two weeks in September.

To apply for residency, print out our application online, fill it out, and
mail it to us.
We must receive your application no later than April 1, 2012/

Designed by Charlie Zehnder in 1970, the Kugel/Gips house is secluded in the
privacy of the Cape Cod National Seashore. This significant example of the
Outer Cape's modernist architecture is sited in the pine woods, hovering
above Northeast Pond.

The three bedroom, two bathroom house has a fireplace, two decks and is
furnished with mid-century furniture and art from the period.

A short walk from Wellfleet's ocean beaches and a restaurant/bar, the house
is an ideal private spot for reflection and work.
