Phase 1 of the Metro Expo Line extends from Downtown Los Angeles to Culver City and opened in Spring 2012. Phase 2 of the project extends 6.6 miles from Culver City to the beachside city of Santa Monica and provides linkages for transit riders, cyclists and pedestrians.
