Pace University in Manhattan invites applications for an anticipated
position for Chair of the Art Department, at the rank of Associate or Full
Professor. The department is seeking a dynamic leader for a flourishing
undergraduate department combining art, art history, and design. The
successful candidate will have the appropriate terminal degree for their
field (MFA or PhD), a strong professional record of exhibitions,
commissions, or publications, and both college level teaching and
administrative experience. Preference is for a practitioner with expertise
in a New Media field, Film Production, or Design, but qualified candidates
in all fields are encouraged to apply. Salary is commensurate with
experience.

Pace University is a private non-profit university located in New York City
and Westchester County. The Art Department in New York offers degrees
including a BA in both Art and Art History, and a BFA in Art. Concentrations
are offered in Film and Video Production, Sculpture and 3D Design,
Photography, Painting and Drawing, Interior Design, and Digital Art and

Work samples: Please submit a maximum of 20 images, 72 dpi resolution,
maximum dimensions of 1024 pixels and 4.0 MB size per image, or a 10 minute
maximum video of sample works. Writing samples should include a maximum of
ten pages representing published works. Please also supply an
image/video/publication list with brief details about each work. Work
samples must be submitted on a CD or DVD with your application.
