Job Description:

*Assist in the execution of outreach efforts to media, city and professional organizations.
*Assist with branding
*Stream-line and maintain existing contact database of marketing targets.
*Provide Artistic Director with potential, show specific marketing targets.
*Post event notices on community calendars.
*Assist with developing marketing campaigns for membership, performances, events and programs.
*Propose and execute postings on social media sites.
*Coordinate and execute collateral distribution.
*Propose methods for enhancing marketing and social media results.
*Pitch stories to press and media.

*Other assignments as appropriately assigned by Artistic Director.

Skills to be developed:
Enhance written and oral communication skills.
Learn about practical marketing strategies.
Foster a rapport with career practitioners and employers.
Networking with marketing professionals.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must believe in the core values of the nonprofit organization and forwarding its
mission. He/she must demonstrate an ability to apply his/her marketing stills with minimal
supervision on or off site.
Self-starter.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Good research and problem solving skills.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and social media platforms.
Professionalism, candor, grace and a sense of humor under pressure.
