The largest Art Fair in the Baltic region, the International Contemporary Art Fair ARTVILNIUS'15 for the sixth time is inviting all art galleries and artists to participate in this ambitious contemporary art event.

ARTVILNIUS'15 will take a place on the 24-28 of June in the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO, in Vilnius, Lithuania. In ARTVILNIUS'15 are planning to participate over 70 galleries from 20 countries of the world, dedicated exhibition of sculptures and installations TAKAS (THE PATH) will offer works of international artists. In addition to usual activities, the Art Fair offers a programme of parallel events such as conferences, discussions, workshops and various events offered by guest galleries. The art fair will be held for the 6th consecutive year at the Litexpo Exhibition Center, a few minutes from the famous historical downtown of Vilnius.

Last year annually growing art fair ARTVILNIUS'14 presented a great number of participants – 65 galleries from 18 countries of the world. Over 140 artworks were sold for more than 170.000 euro. Art fair was visited by a total of nearly 19,000 visitors. Among buyers there were collectors from Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, Germany, France, Estonia, and other countries. The art fair was visited by many well-known businessmen, politicians, and artists. The art fair maecenas Raidla Lejins&Norcous and sponsor UAB Krasta Auto organised a social evening for business customers during which the BMW's latest model was presented.

The significant rise in the number of participating galleries and visitors is the perfect evidence of the growing role of art fair in the Lithuanian cultural life, of Vilnius gradually, but insistently, anchoring on the international map of art fairs, and of the art fair assuming its unique face.
