The Department of Art at Goldsmiths College is looking for a senior artist or scholar to become the new leader of its Research (PhD) Programme. You will take responsibility for the management and future development of one of the most important Fine Art PhD programmes in Europe. You should have your own internationally recognised research profile, experience of PhD supervision and examination, and a working knowledge of the Fine Art research culture in the UK.

You will expected to take a leadership role in the Programme and in the Department, in terms of both the development of learning and teaching and the research programme itself. You will work flexibly within a pedagogical context of student-centred learning and assist the Department to achieve its strategic objectives. The appointment will be for an initial period of three years, though the post is permanent.

Salary: 55,014–62,892 GBP pa incl LW.
