Director of Exhibitions
Columbus College of Art & Design is seeking a Director of Exhibitions at Beeler Gallery, a world-class public exhibition space in Columbus, Ohio, that showcases work by contemporary artists and designers and attracts speakers—from animators and authors to filmmakers and designers—to its Visiting Artists & Scholars Series.

The Director's role is to curate Beeler Gallery with a focus on the gallery's intellectual content from conception to operation to dissemination, balancing budgetary resources to deliver quality programming that engages and increases public understanding of contemporary art and design and those who create. The Director will be responsible to manage the overarching vision of the gallery as it pertains to the college's needs and must be an excellent communicator. As the Director represents the college in all appropriate exhibition venues and events, and engages local and national communities, the ideal individual is capable of working gracefully with artists, designers, visiting scholars, lending institutions, donors, students and colleagues.

Integrative Design Chair
Columbus College of Art & Design is also seeking a leader for its innovative new graduate program in Integrative Design. This project-based curriculum provides talented designers and business persons with the tools to achieve leadership roles in organizations and/or create new businesses. Working closely with the CCAD MindMarket, and grounded in real world experience the curriculum develops creative project management, business, design thinking, leadership and planning skills. CCAD envisions Integrative Design graduates to be driving a host of design and business practices to help companies and communities leverage imagination, mobilize creativity and have impact in the global community.

CCAD is looking for a dynamic and engaged chair for this program with significant professional design experience and networks, who is energized by the challenge and promise of this opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with CCAD's MindMarket in guiding students through leadership roles in real world projects. Launched in 2012, the MindMarket connects the college in collaborative endeavors with the private sector, government, non-profit and for-profit industries. The Integrative Design chair will guide this new program, develop its vision and personality, engage with its faculty, and mentor its students. The college is looking for an individual who understands the importance of creativity for commerce and the foundation of strong business and managerial skills to the creative economy. Industry experience is essential and academic experience valued.
