CALL FOR ART

2nd annual UrbExpo: "New York Values”

juried pop-up art event, May 2017

Greenwich Village, NYC

The goal of this pop-up exhibition is to expand knowledge of NYC's hidden culture and celebrate those who explore it. A wide range of artists and mediums will be represented. Unique presentation of the work within the walls of the historic courthouse-turned-library is something special onto itself, but live art-making and music will also fill the halls. The event kicks off with a VIP night preview on May 6th, but the main event is free and open to the public one week later on the night of May 13th. Lead juror / curator: Rich Garr

All relevant artists are encouraged to apply. We'll need three work sample images with a short description, any social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) that we could feature, a link to any website or online portfolio you may have, and a $10 entry fee. Selected artists will be notified by March 10th with further instruction. We'll begin promoting you and our exciting mix of artists right away, and continue all Spring.
