Baxter St. Workspace Residency, Manhattan, deadline extended to Nov. 17 DEADLINE FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17

BENEFITS OF THE WORKSPACE RESIDENCY:

– Workspace: Workspace Residents receive three months of free access to the B&W and Color darkrooms, Digital Lab and Shooting Studio at the International Center of Photography, as well as the Baxter St at CCNY facilities.

– Programs: Residents receive free admission to all 2018 Baxter St at CCNY events and a 10% discount on classes.

–Materials: Access to film and paper donated by Fujifilm and access to paper donated by the Awagami Factory.

– Stipend: Residents receive a monthly stipend of $1,000 for three months and donated material support during their residency.

– Exhibition Opportunity: Each resident receives a solo exhibition at Baxter St at CCNY after his or her term of residency with additional funding (currently between $2,000 – $5,000) to produce and mount their show pending availability.

ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION PROCESS:

All artists currently residing in New York City who are working in photography or lens-based art are eligible to apply. Please note that living accommodations are not provided and Workspace Residents must reside in New York City for the duration of the residency. Students must have completed their studies on or before January 1, 2018 in order to be eligible to apply. Chosen Workspace Residents MUST reside in New York City for the duration of the residency. A jury of photography professionals will consider all eligible applications.
