CALL FOR WORKS

We’re looking for submissions of event scores (written instructions) that are inspired by, directly relate to or identify with the Fluxus tradition. The project hopes to see where Fluxus and its influence exist today.

Highlighting the relevance and legacy of an often overlooked part of art history, in the later half of 2019 we will tour as many of the submitted works as possible.

Below are some principles that can be used as guidelines for your work:

• Fluxus is an attitude - It is not a movement or a style.

• Fluxus is intermedia - Fluxus creators like to see what happens when different media intersect.

• Fluxus works are simple - The art is small, the texts are short, and the performances are brief.

• Fluxus is fun - Humour has always been an important element in Fluxus.

All works submitted must follow the Event Score format and fit on an A5 postcard.

All works must have been written in 2019.

Deadline for submissions: Midday 29th April 2019

There is no limit to the number of submissions by any one artist.

The work must be sent as a pdf.

Please send submissions and any questions to newCELF@gmail.com
