AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

I've felt like this many a day! Initially though the idea for this image came from me wondering how Islamic Women must feel from the thought of how others treat and percieve them. I spent a few hours one day in a hospital waiting room and there I met an old Islamic lady and she was truely an amazing woman. She was the real inspiration for this work. The original is in charcoal 60 x 42 cm medium grain moyen 220gsm. I'd love to paint her in oils next.
