LAST call to ARTISTS; exposure on billboards across Los Angeles.

Some may now know of the Eco-LogicalART Gallery. The non-profit
gallery is a center of sorts for recycled and recovered element art.
Specifically for 4 years I've been taking "dead" landfill bound
advertising vinyl, stretching it into canvasses and offering it to
artists free in exchange for exposure on the gallery exterior. Every
year on Earth Day we do an "Off The Wall" show; to date we've sold
over 30k of original art painted on recycled vinyl.

Last April for the first time secured five actual billboards were
secured - visible on the website, http://www.eco-logicalart.org - on which 9
artists created original 14 x 48 foot original art. Displayed for
over 6 weeks the images were seen by more than 15 million people.

I am now also planning a 15 art billboard event for LA in January.
Some of these will be 10' by 13'— 3 to a vinyl, some a single 14' x
48' piece executed by one artist. Starting in November artists will
be invited to paint weekends in the gallery. In some cases they may
be able to paint in their own (large…) studios. The gallery and
painting process will be open to the public as the works take shape
in December. Work will be completed by Jan 1. Several of the
billboards will then go up first week of January. A gallery opening
will be approx Jan , all billboards will go up shortly thereafter.
Discussions are also underway for a limited number of the billboards
to travel to San Francisco in February.

So… if interested please direct me to your website or send some small
jpegs. The next step is a study, as all artwork must jump through
some corporate hurdles (but they've been pretty cool so far). After
that, committing to the process and work schedule.

Thanks for the interest.

And PS: as an adjunct to the painted works I'm looking for artists
who make sculpture and functional art from recovered elements, and
who might also like to create some of their work on-site.
