`Disappearance' the theme of Colombian photo competition

Photojournalists have until May 20 to submit works to a photo
competition highlighting the forced disappearance of people as a
crime against humanity.

The first place winner will receive a sum of COP$10 million (about
US$5,670). All photos awarded will be published in a book.

Candidates may send up to five original photos in digital or analog
format in black and white or color. Photos can be published or
unpublished. Each photo must be printed on 20cm x 25cm photo paper,
including the name, date and place where it was taken.

The competition, organized in conjunction with Forced Disappearance
International Seminar (Seminario Internacional Sobre Desaparición
Forzada), is an initiative of the Foundation of Two Worlds (Fundación
Dos Mundos), with support from other institutions.
