Twelfth Flagship Edition of the Art Fair for Artists in Tokyo

Kaikai Kiki is calling for entries for GEISAI #12, the twelfth flagship edition of their unique artist-led art fair. GEISAI allows artists to present their work in a directly to the buying public in a professional and high energy art market. During the day long fair, a panel of influential art figures and professionals will tour the hundreds of exhibitors and award prizes to a select few. Held twice a year in Tokyo, and recently expanded to Miami, GEISAI in its last edition presented more than 1,200 artists and saw a crowd of 12,000 of contemporary art enthusiasts.

Space is limited for GEISAI #12, and booth registration is available online on a first-come-first-serve basis. Artists of all nationalities working in any medium are invited to purchase booths. Applicants need only to register athttp://us.geisai.net by Tuesday, January 13, 2009, and be able to present original artworks on-site in Tokyo on the day of the fair. (*Please note that we may close application before the above deadline, if booths become sold out.)

The artist-led art enterprise Kaikai Kiki was founded by Takashi Murakami in 2001, and evolved from its predecessor, the Hiropon Factory.
