A NIGHT AT LA NACIONAL (Manhattan) is a recently launched monthly night of arthouse film, performance, live music and visual arts in partnership with our long-time venue of La Nacional (Spanish Benevolent Society), the oldest non-profit in New York City and located in Manhattan. Set in the second-floor gallery of the stately brownstone behind the red door with a contemporary Spanish restaurant on the ground floor, this venue draws a diverse crowd from all walks of life, and is particularly attractive for audiences from the film and media world. This is the pilot phase of a project that will last until November and depending on the results, may become a permanent feature of La Nacional’s programming. This is an experimentalist programme seeking short films, performances, live music, visual arts and fashion.

BRONX WORLD FILM CYCLE, SUMMER 2025 (Bronx) is our roving cinémathèque programme which since 2017 has take arthouse films in all genres and of a lighter tone to indoor and outdoor, public and private venues throughout the borough including parks and welcoming host institutions. It is modeled on our flagship Bronx World FIlm Cycle, the winter version, which has taken place at La Nacional since our founding in 2011. Seeking features and short films, performances, live music and visual arts.
