The City of Reykjavík in Iceland is proud to announce an open call for public art work in a neighbourhood under redevelopment, called Vogabyggð. This project aims at including art in public space as a means to create stimulating surroundings and to make art a significant part of everyday life in the neighbourhood.

PARK SLOPE – Performing arts facility, Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX), is currently seeking a new Executive Artistic Director following the March 25 announcement by its Founding Executive Director, Marya Warshaw, that she will retire at the end of 2018.

Warshaw founded BAX in 1991 as a place where “children study and professional artists create under the same roof,” according to the organization’s website. “Students are mentored by professional artists and the citywide performing arts community engages diverse Brooklyn audiences at year-round performances in the Theater at BAX.”

The Arts Writers grant supports both emerging and established writers who are writing about contemporary visual art. Ranging from 15,000 USD to 50,000 USD in four categories—articles, blogs, books and short-form writing—these grants support projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from scholarly studies to self-published blogs. We also support art writing that engages criticism through interdisciplinary methods or experiments with literary styles.

Kaimera Productions is an NYC & Paris based interdisciplinary live arts company, with ongoing projects in five countries across the globe. Kaimera works to provide platforms for audiences to come together in dialogue and examine some of the hardest questions our global society faces, through performances and live experiences created collaboratively by experts in and outside of the arts.
The Producing Director must be independent, a self-starter who believes in Kaimera’s mission, values, and beliefs, and is excited to join us as a true creative and producing partner.

MacDowell offers artists of all backgrounds a supportive and inclusive community that encourages focused studio time, multidisciplinary exchange, and opportunities to reach new audiences with their work. Artists accepted for residency receive fellowships that cover all residency costs, including use of a private studio, meals and accommodations for up to eight weeks in an ideal creative setting in rural New Hampshire.
