This Studio Residency offers shared multipurpose space with a spectacular ocean view in an iconic midcentury park building overlooking the Pier. The City is particularly interested in artists whose work offers opportunity for sharing with the public as well as with aspiring artists through example and instruction. Spring 2015 Culture Push Fellowship for Utopian Practice

Artists and other creative professionals are encouraged to apply with ideas
for projects that expand their practice beyond its traditional boundaries.
This is a process-based Fellowship, and Culture Push will help Fellows
develop big ideas that have real world applications. We are looking for
highly interactive projects that engage the public and push the boundaries
of how art can exist in the world. The Fellows will have a year-long tenure
that begins in the Spring of 2015, and will receive logistical,
institutional and financial support.
