Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its November 2012 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The subject for this art exhibition is “Countryside” and artists were asked to submit their best interpretation of this theme by depicting rural living, rustic charm, the outdoors and pastoral scenes in their submissions to this competition

An art competition was held in October 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from ¬¬12 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 34 different states. Overall, there were 455 entries from 140 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

Learn about the art of watercolor with artist Kathy Dunham. She will be Studying Color and Color Theory. Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at the City of Brea Art Gallery. 9:30am to 3:00pm.Cost is $75. Environmental Charter Middle School is seeking an assistant teacher for our handwork/arts class. The class meets Tuesdays through Fridays through June 2013. 8-16 hours per week between 10 and 3— exact schedule is to be determined.

Job Purpose Statement: The Handwork Assistant will assist the Handwork teacher in grades 6-8.

• Follow curriculum planned by teacher; assist with preparations
• Direct student activities and projects under teacher's guidance
• Work collegially and in flexible fashion with faculty, classroom volunteers and staff
• Help to maintain supplies and classrooms in beautiful, clean and orderly fashion

The Skirball Cultural Center seeks On-Call Gallery Educators to staff Noah's Ark at the Skirball, the Center's interactive destination for children and families. Noah's Ark includes an entire floor of hands-on galleries dedicated to exploring the themes of community, diversity, and new beginnings. On-Call Gallery Educators facilitate programs for family audiences, community groups and, as needed, school groups.
