Art Exhibit and Benefit Auction at Rush Arts Gallery in Chelsea on June 27
and 28. We are seeking quality pieces by working artist friends to join
select works by notable contemporary artists. Your tax deductible artwork
donation goes to support radio for the 99%.

Impakt, foundation for critical media culture in Utrecht (NL), invites interested parties to submit curatorial proposals for the Impakt Festival 2012, which takes place from 24 to 28 October, focusing on the theme No More Westerns.

The Impakt Festival is the annual culmination of Impakt's activities as a foundation specialising in critical media culture: a multi-medial festival with conferences, readings, performances, screenings, exhibitions, and music.

Preconditions

The conditions for all scholarships are a completed course of study in art (M.F.A. or comparable degree) and one to three years (depending on the respective scholarship) of continuous artistic work after the conclusion of the studies. Applications are also possible for autodidacts distinguished by special artistic achievements, as documented by exhibitions and prizes.

The Associação Cultural Videobrasil in partnership with Casa Tomada (São Paulo, Brazil) and Delfina Foundation (London, UK) are pleased to invite applicants from Brazil and the Middle East, North Africa & South Asia (MENASA) for a three-month artistic residency split between São Paulo and London. The aim of the residency is to produce a new work in response to Videobrasil's Collection.

Submissions now open for a new quarterly event taking place in Edinburgh, UK.

This is the first in a series of intensive listening events, based around
unamplified live performance works, and recorded sound pieces submitted
from across the globe. Part of the event takes place in the dark, the
central idea being to create a space of heightened collective
concentration, free of the normal distractions of concert venues and
gallery spaces, to maximise receptiveness to new listening possibilities.
I've been asked to curate the recorded soundworks section of the first
event.

Pieces should comprise between one minute and eight minutes of audio.
