Executive Assistant at Community Arts Resources (CARS)

Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant will work directly for the President of the for-profit business, Community Arts Resources. As the President is also the Executive Director of the non-profit (CicLAvia), the Executive Assistant will be involved in a vast array of details and action items. The Executive Assistant will draft correspondence, attend meetings with the President, and assume a scope of responsibilities large and small. Additionally, the position will sit at the front desk of the office and perform a variety of administrative tasks.

With 25 years of experience, CARS produces high profile, large scale events that aim to change how public space is used in Los Angeles. Dubbed by the New York Times as "Los Angeles' preeminent festival producer," CARS designs, installs and oversees festivals and other events for CicLAvia, the Getty, the City of Santa Monica, and many more organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the President's correspondence with press, partner organizations, Board and community members.
• Maintain and update the President's calendar.
• Develop action items for the President and track progress.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on all details.
• Maintain front office including answering phones and greeting volunteers and other visitors.
Complete a variety of other tasks
