SEEKING CREATIVE WRITING ARTIST MENTORS

Writers with 3 to 5 years of professional experience needed to teach Theatre Of
Hearts/Youth First (TOHYF) Artist-In-Residence Program Classes for middle school and
high school students!

Each TOHYF residency is custom-designed and standards-based. Residencies typically
consist of 2-hour workshops conducted sequentially once or twice per week for 13 to 15
weeks, culminating in a Work-In-Progress Presentation. Artists are paid a flat fee based on
the number of hours allotted, depending on the program’s site and location.

ARTS COMMISSION ANNOUNCES NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR NON-ARTS ORGANIZATIONS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY
Organizations Providing Services Outside of the Arts Are Eligible

The Arts Commission announces the Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) program, a new funding opportunity for nonprofit organizations that use the arts to support their mission while primarily providing a wider range of services and programs. Research Assistant for Latin American Art Overview:
The Research Assistant is responsible for the research and coordination of a retrospective survey of a major Brazilian artist, a small exhibition of a Los Angeles-based Chicano artist, and possible coordination of a site-specific project by an Argentinian artist. All three exhibitions will be part of the Getty Foundation's Pacific Standard Time initiative LA/LA.
