Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its September 2015 art exhibition “Open” is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online. The “Open” is a No Theme Art Competition, to which artists were asked to submit their best representational or abstract artworks on any subject matter.
The gallery received submissions from 19 different countries around the world. They also received entries from 34 different states and the District of Columbia. Overall, the gallery received 734 entries to judge for this art competition.

Selection Criteria
Residencies are selected through a two-stage competitive selection process. During the first selection round, portfolios of submitted images will be judged by an independent committee of highly regarded art professionals. During this first round, artists will be selected solely on the basis of portfolio.
During the second phase of the selection process, the selection committee and Executive Director review all aspects of the applications. A final selection of applicants will participate in a short phone interview with the Executive Director. In addition, applicants’ references may be contacted.

Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 2nd Annual International “Cityscapes” Online Art Competition for the month of September 2015. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of October 2015. Awards will be given for the top 5 chosen winners. In addition to the winning images, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries received, Honorable Recognition awards will also be presented. This competition closes September 30, 2015. Winners will be announced on October 12, 2015.
