The Creatives Exchange trip is designed for arts and culture workers (Arts Administrators, Producers, Curators, and beyond) in their early-mid career who are interested in cultural exchange, collaborating internationally, and expanding their network. No prior China experience is necessary, just bring an open mind and a keen interest in learning more about what is developing in one of the most dynamic and interesting art scenes on the planet!

Center Theatre Group and HUMANITAS Request Submissions For PLAY LA Workshop

Center Theater Group and HUMANITAS will be accepting submissions from Los Angeles-based playwrights from March 1 to April 15, 2015 for its new PLAY LA Workshop. Writers will receive a $1,500 stipend as well as access to advice from theatre, film and television professionals throughout the year. At the end of the process, one play will be featured as a workshop at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of PLAY LA’s weekend celebration of new plays in the spring of 2016.

ART CART: SAVING THE LEGACY is an interdisciplinary arts legacy project that
will connect aging professional artists with teams of advanced student
fellows to undertake the preparation and documentation of their creative
work, to help shape the future of our cultural legacy.

From artists who need help organizing their materials, to those who have
already documented some of their work, this project seeks to help put your
work in order for current and future generations. Artists will receive free
use of customized software, teamwork with two fellows from arts, health and
aging disciplines, and an honorarium for appearing in a public forum
connected to a public exhibition.
