Independent Curators International (ICI) connects emerging and established curators, artists, and institutions to forge international networks and generate new forms of collaboration through the production of exhibitions, events, publications, and curatorial training. Headquartered in New York, the organization provides public access to the people and practices that are key to current developments in curating and exhibition-making around the world, inspiring fresh ways of seeing and contextualizing contemporary art. The Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) is pleased to announce that the
Guidelines and online Application for the upcoming Visual Arts, Craft and
Literary Arts round of the Investing in Artists (IA) grants program are now
available at www.cciarts.org/grantsprogram.htm.

The deadline for receipt of applications is July 1, 2013 by 6 p.m.

Applications to the Investing in Artists grants program will only be
accepted online through the GO™ application system. All applicants MUST
register (create a user name and password) on the GO™ system before they

The Facilities Manager helps supervise, train, and coordinate all employees of the Facilities Department with work orders, P.M.'s and projects.

Essential Functions:
Performs related duties, P.M.'s, work orders, records, cleaning areas, and all jobs inclusive of Mechanic 2 and Mechanic 3

Responsible for museum maintenance and overall appearance of the museum grounds

Responsible for all preventative maintenance coordination

Supervises all facilities employees in the absence of a Director

Trains all facilities employees as needed

Assists work order scheduling and time scheduling

Works with department directors in facility to administer ongoing checks of the work completed in each department

Responsible for the department when the current director is absent.

Artspace Visual Arts Centre is a leading international residency-based contemporary art centre, housed in the historic Gunnery Building in Woolloomooloo fronting Sydney Harbour.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for entries for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Botanicals” online art competition for the month of July 2013. The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us their best interpretation of the theme “Botanicals” by submitting their best botanical and floral art for inclusion into the gallery’s August 2013 online Group Art Exhibition. We encourage entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best botanical art. Botanical art will include flowers, herbs, leaves and plants.
