HIRING: Middle School Play Director
WHAT: Marlborough, an all girls school, is hiring an experienced, professional director for its upcoming Middle School Play.
WHERE: Marlborough is located in Hancock Park at 250 S. Rossmore Avenue in Los Angeles, CA
WHEN:
· Auditions - February 13-16 from 3-5:30.
· Rehearsals – April 9 – May 9. There is a 4 ½ week rehearsal period for the show that includes daily afterschool rehearsals from 3-5:30 as well as Saturday rehearsals from 9-5. During the final week or so of production, rehearsals may go as late as 8pm.
· Production – There are three shows only:
3pm on Thursday, May 10 and 7pm shows on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12

The gallery received submissions from 10 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 27 different states. Overall, there were 364 entries that were judged. Professional photographers worldwide can submit their work to a competition.
The Professional Photographer of the Year Awards is seeking entries for its annual contest.
Digital entries can be submitted without an entry fee in 13 categories including editorial/news, on location, still life and more.
There will be one overall winner chosen as the photographer of the year, but each category will have one winner and one runner-up. Each winner will receive an exclusive logo to promote their brand.
The submission deadline is January 27.

1. Prints: Each artist should send one original hand pulled print. No digital, photos or copies accepted.
2. Paper Size : 10 x 10 inches or 25 x 25 cm. Image size can vary or bleed out of the paper.
The paper size is extremely important. The image can be any size.
3. Theme: Peace.
No participation fee. We ask you to donate your Print to Arte/Desarrollo Humano -Art/Human Development project.
Invited country Japan.
4. Medium: Entries may feature any technique of printmaking and should be signed.
5. Deadline: April 1, 2012.
Prints received in Monterrey. If the print is late we will save it for next year.

Capture a photograph or create an illustration focusing on the use of color. Entries must be completely original works and can't feature brand logos.

Frieze Art Fair announced today the call for entries to the Emdash Award 2012. The Emdash Award is open to artists living outside of the UK, up to five years from graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or under 35 years of age. The Emdash Award is part of the Frieze Projects programme, produced by Frieze Foundation, supported by the Emdash Foundation and presented in collaboration with Gasworks.
