Gyeonggi Creation Center is an artist residency located in the west coast of Korea. Established in 2009, GCC aims to support artists and curators from around the world and from various fields of art for their creative work and research. With various programs and facilities alongside the studios, GCC hopes to be a dynamic platform for an experimental and progressive contemporary art.
For the 2012 Residency Studio Program, GCC will accept applications from artists of all fields including visual and performing arts, film and new media, literature, music and sound arts. Artists, curators and researchers from respective fields may also apply in our 2012 Open call.

Photographers worldwide can submit their work to a contest.
The Center for Fine Art Photography is accepting entries for its annual photo competition. Amateurs and professionals can submit images based on this year's theme - home.
Prizes range from US$250-600 and all winning images will be featured in the center's main gallery exhibition and online gallery.
The entry fee for the first three images is US$20 for members and US$35 for non-members.
Entries must be submitted online by November 16.

Photographers and curators worldwide can submit their work to a contest held in Poland.
The Fotofestiwal presents the Grand Prix Fotofestiwal, a contest aiming to show new people and interesting topics in the world of photography.
An jury of professional photographers will select nine finalists and one winner who will receive PLN10,000 (about US$3,065) and have their work featured in an individual exhibition.
The entry fee is PLN100 (about US$35).
The deadline for submissions is November 15.

Student photographers who submit their portfolio to a contest could win US$2,500.
Time magazine seeks the best young photographers of 2011 in "The Next Generation" contest. Portfolios should explore how photography, video and the culture of images define today's world.
Along with the cash prize, the winner's portfolio will be published on Time's photography blog Lightbox and receive a review from Time's photo editors.
Applicants must be currently enrolled students or 2011 graduates from high school, college or graduate school.
Students can submit between 10-20 photographs from a number of categories - photojournalism, portraiture, still life, conceptual or fine art. Entries must include a brief description of the portfolio.

EEA-TURKEY, CUNDA is a comprehensive three-week course that takes place on the small Cunda Island in the Aegean Sea, just off the Turkish coast.
The Samek Art Gallery is the visual art center of Bucknell University in
Lewisburg, PA. This 4500 square feet academic art lab presents original,
travelling, and collection exhibitions and public programs that cover the
range of art history with an emphasis on contemporary art. The Gallery
maintains an active museum collection of over 5,000 objects, including many
works installed across the campus. The Gallery is open to the public seven
days a week during the academic year, with the exceptions of university
