Wooloo.org is organizing the people of Copenhagen to open their homes to 5.000 environmental activists during the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference in Denmark this December.

Utilizing this large-scale human meeting as its exhibition platform, the NEW LIFE COPENHAGEN festival invites artists and curators to submit work proposals.

New Life Happenings. Propose a happening or event for the thousands of NEW LIFE COPENHAGEN hosts and guests during the UN Conference. Your concept should involve collective action and will be implemented alongside works by artist groups Superflex (DK), Signa (DK/A) and Raketa (SE) among others.

Digital Fringe is open for video, image, and audio submissions - Have your work screen in public spaces across the world!

Get your works in by 20th September to be included in the fesival DVD.

Digital Fringe is an open access public arts festival that places contemporary screen based media in public locations. It provides artists with access to an extensive network of hundreds of public screens and non-traditional audiences throughout Australia and the world. Screening venues receive a playlist curated from the diverse visual works of animation, abstract, video art, short film, machinima, motion graphics, photography and stills submitted to the Digital Fringe festival via our website - digitalfringe.com.au. DANCE CAMERA WEST JUNE 2010 FILM FESTIVAL LOS ANGELES

Early Deadline: December 16, 2009 ($50 fee; $40 for members)
Late Deadline: January 15, 2010 ($60 fee; $50 for members)

Dance media made for the screen with an emphasis on choreography in any dance style or genre. Categories: screendance, short films, feature, documentary, installation, and interactive dance media. The 2010 June festival will feature LA based artists as part of the special outdoor screening event, Local Makers.

Special Project Volunteer/Intern – Inside Out Community Arts

Inside Out Community Arts is a nationally award-winning non-profit
organization that utilizes theater, movement, music, writing, and visual arts
to explore the imagination in a positive manner in order to build self-esteem,
conflict resolution and socialization skills. The Neighborhood Arts Project (NAP) serves middle school
youth from 10 different Westside middle schools. The program includes weekly theatre and arts workshops,
monthly family workshops, theater and nature field trips and culminating
performance events highlighting original work by students.

Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival
A Multicultural Festival of Solo Artists is accepting SUBMISSIONS for it’s Seventeenth Annual Festival March 25-28, 2010

LAWTF is seeking female solo performers of all ethnicities and ages with original performance pieces: actors, performance artists, dancers, comedians, storytellers, singers and performance poets… from throughout the world.

Send LAWTF your DVD or videotape depicting the exact program under consideration for the Festival (cued to 10 minute viewing segment of your entire piece). Your submission must be clear and audible for viewing. Please do not send audition tapes with only a collage of your performances. We must see a real time excerpt of your work. Up to 30 minutes of solo works will be performed in the Festival.

Artists' Television Access celebrates original, independent and underground film & video with the 4th ATA Film & Video Festival on October 21, 22 & 23, 2009.

On Wednesday, October 21, the ATA Film Festival begins with a free workshop on experimental film exhibition and distribution, hosted by local experimental filmmakers and distributors.
