Reality Soundtrack – moving sound intervention in public spaces

Reality Soundtrack is a sound intervention for public spaces, such as post offices, passages, shopping malls, streets… Equipping 25 or more participants with a single radio receiver each, these "sound carriers" walk together through parts of a city, following a given Intervention Map. All the radio receivers transmit the same electronic composition, which is transmitted from a radio station. The audible result of the action is a moving cloud of sound traveling through a city.

Digital Fringe is an open access public arts festival that places
contemporary screen based media in public locations. It provides artists
with access to an extensive network of hundreds of public screens and
non-traditional audiences throughout Australia and the world. Screening
venues receive a playlist curated from the diverse visual works of

Reporting to the Director, the Chief Curator and Director, Artistic and Education Department plans, organizes, directs and oversees the activities of the various functions of the Artistic and Education Department: the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, travelling exhibitions, collection archives, conservation laboratory, multimedia events and education services; s/he occasionally organizes exhibitions. S/he administers the financial, material and human resources of the Artistic and Education Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in art history.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and A Window Between
Worlds is delighted to partner with two long established, artist-run
galleries in Pomona’s lively downtown art district: dA Center for the
Arts and SCA Project Gallery.
Artists working in all media are invited to interpret or provoke
thought about the theme of SHELTER. Works will be offered for sale. A
nominal fee to enter is detailed in the prospectus. All works selected
must be delivered and retrieved from the gallery by hand.

Donlavy Dance Company is calling for any couples to submit picture/video highlights of your marriage; wedding or civil unions.
Examples of such submissions could be the exchange of vows, the wedding march, signing the marriage license, registering for domestic partnership, preparing for the ceremony the day of and even the slicing of the cake. Different affections of love and committment are also welcome.
