Hello friends. Just wanted to let you know that I'm having an exhibition of my paintings in the Highland Park district of LA in the extremely cool Cafe De Leche at 5000 York Blvd (cross street Avenue 50). The exhibition is up now and will be there till July 9th. This is a selection from my work, some old, some brand new (the first two in my Feral Children series). Hope to see you there!

Filmforum is in need of a new logo! So we're opening up a contest. Something wonderful that expresses how Filmforum specializes in non-commercial experimental film & video art. We would use the winning entry on letterhead, flyers, posters, and so forth. The winning entry will get a free one-year Filmforum membership, giving you free entry to all our shows at the Egyptian Theatre, and we'll try to think of some other goodies. seeking late-night production for 3-weekend run

Son of Semele Ensemble is accepting proposals from artists and theater
companies to present a late-night show in their 40-seat Silver Lake theater
(3 consecutive weekends -- 9 performances). NO RENTAL FEE. The box office
revenue from the show will be split down the middle after the minimum
guarantee is met. If interested, please send the requested information to us
by June 20. Questions can also be emailed to us.

PASADENA ARTWALK CALL TO ARTISTS
The 4th Annual ARTWalk is accepting artist submissions.

The Pasadena Playhouse District Association is inviting artists to submit artwork for the 4th Annual ARTWalk. This year's ARTWalk will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11 am until 5 pm at El Molino Ave. between Colorado and Green St.

All artists are welcome to apply to exhibit in ARTWalk. Artists submitting work must fall in one of the following categories:
• Drawing
• Mixed media
• New media
• Painting
• Photography
• Sculpture

Artists must also meet one of the following criteria to participate:
• Current resident of Pasadena
• Current/active member of at least one Pasadena based organization
• Exhibited in Pasadena
