Seeking Executive Director: Media Alliance, Inc. (aka The Sanctuary for Independent Media)

For nearly two decades, The Sanctuary for Independent Media has been cultivating the use of art, science and participatory action to promote social and environmental justice and freedom of creative expression.

The Sanctuary hosts performers and speakers from around the world, trains community members on media production, serves as a hub for bio art related to our urban ecosystem, and so much more.

The Tank is looking for a festival curator for PRIDEFEST. Responsibilities of the festival curator include:

Reviewing submissions for the festival
Meeting with submitting artists to onboard them into The Tank
Reaching out to artists in the coordinator’s network to gauge interest in performance
Liaising with artists and Tank Staff to make sure needs are communicated
Confirming performance schedule with artists
Liaising with marketing and press to communicate important information
Being present during festival as another hand and resource for artists
