The Williamsburg Art neXus (WAX) in partnership with The Barnard College Department of Dance of Columbia University announce a call for proposals for the 2008/09 Sugar Salon residency, mentorship, and performance program. Three participants will be selected through this competitive review process, and will join featured choreographer and peer/mentor, Jane Comfort (AD, Jane Comfort and Company), as participants in the 2008/09 program.

screened 200+ films from over 50 countries, has reached millions of
people with its public relations campaign, and has united with
activist celebrities to bring "Artivism" to the media. The Artivist

of the United States to create documentaries for U.S. Television.
ITVS's International Call is asking for submissions that will
represent diverse communities, advance underrepresented points of
view and inspire public dialogue. Documentaries must be completed
