Assistant Director of Development, Major Gifts

The Los Angeles Opera has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Development, Major Gifts who will be responsible for overseeing the patron program and implementing various strategies to acquire new donors and renewals of gifts. Some activities will include hosting meals with donors and prospects, attending performances, and otherwise representing the L.A. Opera in a positive fashion to the donor community.

The "H+F Curatorial Grant" is an ambitious and original initiative which allows the FRAC Nord–Pas de Calais (Dunkirk/France) in close partnership with the private collector Han Nefkens (H+F Collection) and the de Appel arts centre (Amsterdam/NL), to give young international curators the opportunity to participate in the development of exhibition projects based on the collection of FRAC Nord-Pas-de- Calais.

1866, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) now seeks
exceptional artists for full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty positions
in its undergraduate and graduate programs for Fall 2010.

SAIC seeks accomplished and versatile artists with relevant teaching
experience in contemporary approaches, concepts, techniques, and critical
issues as they pertain to current art practices in the departments of
