Donlavy Dance Company is currently seeking MALE & Female dancers for its exciting season 2010. 3 Male and 2 Female dancers with strong dance background & experience (ages 18-62)round out its existing 6 male member ensemble. Much of the company's work this season focuses on Marriage Equality for all. Three Major live dance venues are projected for May, September and December of this year while Video/Film work is also accomplished and shot throughout this time. Short Dance Films are shot from within the company. Any additional roles are few & subject to audition and casting. First film shoot is , "CSI," and will shoot March, 2010.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Director of Finance and Operations, the Operations Intern will provide accounting and administrative support for P.S. ARTS, a non-profit arts education provider.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
• Non-profit accounting using QuickBooks
• General office procedures including filing and data maintenance
• Other related projects as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong interest in arts education, non-profit management and/or accounting.
• Ability to work cooperatively
• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with any accounting software a plus
Stipend: $10/per hour, 20 hours per week

reDiscover needs Artist Volunteers to join us in creating a series of art projects for the center. Volunteers will be asked to join us at the center on Saturdays from 10am-1pm, to create projects that will be used in all facets of our work from samples for student projects to promotional materials and auction items. Volunteers can donate as much or as little time as they can and will have lots of room for personal creativity. (within the bounds that we work with children of course)
