The Administrator is responsible for the overall management of Dance
Camera West, including financial management, programming, marketing,
public relations and development. Candidate will be key in organizing
Dance Camera West’s festival and screening program year round and is
interested in an on going commitment with the organization.
Being self-motivated and disciplined the candidate is able to work
both independently and collaboratively with Artistic Director, Board
of Directors, artists, venues and the public. Dance Camera West is a
non-profit arts organization with a month long annual film festival
in June and special events throughout the year.

The Natural History Museum of LA County is seeking 2 Stage Coordinators to support its popular Dinosaur Encounters program. Duties will consist of running five to seven short shows a day for audiences of 50-300 in an unusual venue, completing sound and light checks, and maintaining the schedules and show times for a staff of 4-7 performance artists.

· Strong background stage managing for the theatre.

Part Time Lecturer needed to develop and teach a new ACT Special Topics junior/senior level studio course in Art Therapy for Fall 2010 (Aug. 30 – Dec. 18, exact class time TBD).
ACTS300 Special Topics: Art Therapy (2 credits)
This studio course will give students an introduction to visual and performing art techniques used in therapeutic art programs. History and theories of art and performance therapy will be covered through demonstrations, readings, guest lectures and field trips. Students will also produce self-directed work with these techniques in mind as well as guide each other through therapeutic art practices.

Luminario Ballet of Los Angeles is seeking one ballerina and one male ballet dancer
for our 2010 season. These are paid positions.
In addition, we will be auditioning unpaid apprentices for the future.
Rehearsal begins Saturday, 2/13 for performances at the Pasadena Dance Festival.
There is intermittent work throughout 2010 Spring and Summer, including a Repertory
show at the Ford Ampitheatre in August. All rehearsals and performances are paid.
There is a pointe shoe allowance for the ballerinas.
