Mia wishes to appoint a Chair of the Arts of Global Africa, to enhance, interpret and publish Mia’s collection of African Arts and to promote understanding and appreciation of African art through its collection, making it accessible to the largest possible audience.

The Arts of Global Arica is a new Department, created following a reorganisation to focus solely on art from Africa and the African Diaspora. This is therefore an exciting opportunity to lead the change and the new department.
