A Place Called Home is a dynamic, non-profit youth center in
South Central Los Angeles. APCH provides educational programs,
counseling, mentoring, music, dance and art classes, and fitness
opportunities. As youth participate in our programs, they
discover interests and talents and develop a better sense of
themselves and their place in the world around them. Our goal is
to increase the likelihood that youth will stay in school, pursue
higher education, attain viable jobs, and become active citizens

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all
components of the community arts education advocacy team
initiative to support arts education in public schools,
including:
* Develop SWOT analysis in each team community.
* Create community profiles in each team community.
* Recruit and train local community leaders to
participate in the advocacy team initiative.
* Forge relationships with potential community partners.
* Survey candidates running for school board and city
council in Los Angeles County.

Film Independent seeks temporary Artist Development Coordinator from approximately 10.21.2013 through 5.8.2014. The position will require full-time hours (40hrs/week) from mid-November through mid-March, otherwise part-time (20hrs/week). The Artist Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Artist Development Department in the administration and management of the Filmmaker Labs, Grants and Awards Program, and the Fox Writers Intensive, as well as other ongoing departmental projects and programs.
