The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the largest museum for modern and contemporary art and design in the Netherlands, is currently searching for an Artistic Director to succeed Ann Goldstein, who will leave the museum on December 1st. Previous directors were Willem Sandberg (1945–1963), Edy de Wilde (1963–1985), Wim Beeren (1985–1993), Rudi Fuchs (1993–2003), Hans van Beers (2003–2005), and Gijs van Tuyl (2005–2009).
Fall Internship, Family Programs
The Skirball's Education Department is offering one fall internship position for an undergraduate or graduate student in the area of Family Programs. Working closely with members of the Education Department, which focuses on providing intergenerational learning experiences through the Skirball's exhibitions and collections, the Family Programs Intern will help coordinate and develop programs for families in a drop-in art studio setting, a hands-on simulated archaeological dig site, and several special events. The Family Programs intern will also have the opportunity to gain gallery teaching experience.

The City of Santa Monica, Cultural Affairs Division, seeks applications from writers living in Los Angeles County for a residency at the Annenberg Community Beach House, Santa Monica. This Artist Residency offers a large private office in the historic Marion Davies Guest House for ten weeks between January 6 and March 17, 2014 to complete a work in progress.

The YWCA Santa Monica / Westside is
looking for a Dance Coordinator who plans, organizes, administers, instructs
and supervises the dance classes and performances as well as conducts
evaluations of the Girl Central Dance Program. Dance program is for middle school girls (ages 10-14). There will be one beginning level class and
one intermediate level class taught per week from September 2013-June
2014. The YWCA is closed on local and
state holidays. No classes are offered
if the school is not in session.
