LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) is seeking interns for a number of fall positions!
LACE offers undergraduates and recent graduates the opportunity to participate in the gallery’s programming and gain experience at a non-profit arts organization. Internships provide training in areas such as administration, development, research, communications, and facility operations. Students interested in art and arts administration will especially benefit from this experience. Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, a keen attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a hands-on group environment. LACE will work with the intern’s special interests to ensure a positive learning experience.

Description of Organization: The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival
(LAWTF), a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization, was founded in 1993 to
provide a vehicle for the development of original work by solo women
artists. Primarily, LAWTF produces an Annual Festival of Solo Women
Artists during Women's History Month (March). LAWTF also produces
community outreach programming, grant-sponsored performances, and

Inside Out Community Arts is a nationally award-winning non-profit arts
education organization founded in 1997, which founded a social enterprise
program called Teen Media Initiative (TMI) in 2009 which trains and employs “Teen Techies” in web-based skills,
specifically website and blog creation from templates, and using social media
and networking sites for professional purposes. The Teen Techies also learn customer service and market their skills in
order to secure paying adult clients who need their services to “get
connected”. TMI’s clients have included

The Industry is looking for an Assistant Director for INVISIBLE CITIES, a site-specific production at Union Station, opening October 19, 2013. The Assistant Director would be required at all evening rehearsals from Sept. 30 until opening night, including seven rehearsals at Union Station. Center Theatre Group's fall 2013 internship applications are now

We are offering twelve undergraduate internships and two graduate-level
internships; all are paid or for-credit. All require an application,

Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant will work directly for the President of the for-profit business, Community Arts Resources. As the President is also the Executive Director of the non-profit (CicLAvia), the Executive Assistant will be involved in a vast array of details and action items. The Executive Assistant will draft correspondence, attend meetings with the President, and assume a scope of responsibilities large and small. Additionally, the position will sit at the front desk of the office and perform a variety of administrative tasks.
