Assistant House Manager
The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre is seeking an experience, qualified
Assistant House Manager for the over 100 performances presented at the
Ford Amphitheatre this spring and summer. The 1241-seat outdoor Ford
Amphitheatre is set in the Hollywood Hills just across from the
Hollywood Bowl and features multi-cultural events including music,
dance, and film festivals. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a program of
the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under supervision of the House Manager, perform a variety of duties for
theatre performances, including overseeing house staff and patron
services to ensure the smooth operation of events at all performances
from April through October. Responsibilities include coordinating

ABOUT
Work with a group of young, passionate artists and curators at The Wassaic
Project, a vibrant multidisciplinary arts organization in Wassaic, NY and
New York City. Programming interns learn about aspects of curating and
producing an art exhibition and arts and music festival, from curating,
press, marketing, event planning, exhibition hanging, gallery management and
more. Because The Wassaic Project is a small, young organization, interns
have a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term identity of the
organization and take on substantial responsibility. Interns have the
chance to manage their own projects and will work on our spring benefit, the
Choir and theater director(s) sought by West Valley community high school.
We are an innovative and pluralistic Jewish high school that is looking to fill the positions of theater director and choir director with either one or two high-spirited, creative and entrepreneurial artist/educators. * Prepare and submit monthly union dues and benefit reports.
* Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.

* Maintain LAMC personnel files and records.
