We're looking for passionate arts instructors to teach elementary and middle school students in our first Arts Adventure Summer Camp in Calabasas. Sessions will run Monday-Thursday from 8:30-11:30 am and are 3 weeks long. All profits go to support arts education programs in Las Virgenes Unified School District.
ELEMENTARY: June 20 to July 7 at AE Wright Middle School and July 11 to July 28 at Yerba Buena Elementary School. Students will explore all art forms in each session. We have openings for arts instructors in: Dance, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts. Honorarium is $600 per session for each art form – 2 days per week for 3 weeks.

Hours: Full-time (33 hours per week/schedule may vary)
Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hr

Part-time teaching position in handwork/art.
Environmental Charter Schools is seeking a teacher for our handwork/arts
class. Position will be in the afternoon, four times per week,
Tuesdays through Fridays until June 2011.
Instructor will need experience teaching upper elementary or middle
school students, the ability to independently manage a classroom of
25-30 students and knowledge of practical arts. Students' work in
Handwork/Art supports their study of 6th grade academic standards
(history, science, language arts, and math). Sample activities might
include papyrus-making to support the study of Ancient Egypt, weaving to
support our Ancient Greece unit, or drawing circles free hand and with
