Applications for 2016 Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internship grants to museums and visual arts organizations are due February 2, 2016!

Since its inception in 1993, the internship program has supported more than 3,000 internships in Los Angeles-area museums and visual arts organizations. The program aims to increase diversity in the professions related to the visual arts and to provide programmatic support for local organizations.

The internships are intended specifically for outstanding students who are members of groups currently underrepresented in the museum and visual arts professions including, but not limited to, individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American and Pacific Islander descent.

We are looking for individuals who:
1. Are technically skilled, but are not completely obsessed with technique
2. Are intuitive, creative, and can think outside the box with functional and sculptural ceramics
3. Can take initiative with projects
4. Have an extensive ceramics portfolio and strong work ethic
5. Love contemporary art and have a strong knowledge of contemporary artists
6. Have patience

THE BLANK THEATRE, LEAD PRODUCER Job Opening

POSITION: Lead Producer will work closely with the Artistic Director and will be responsible for the overall management of all Productions and The Blank’s Annual Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival. The Producer will also support the running of The Blank’s new play development program, The Living Room Series, with the Artistic Committee and LRS Associate Producer. Part time to full time position with some flexibility. Occasional evening/weekend hours required.
