Dream A World Education is a non-profit that has been delivering a unique kind of arts programming to schools in the Los Angeles area since 2008. Our programming addresses the need to teach multidisciplinary arts and values as a part of early elementary education. Our programming begins in kindergarten and currently reaches through 2nd grade.
Qualifications:
Must have a high degree of artistic skill as a dancer
Must have experience teaching lower elementary aged children 7-8
Must have performance experience
Must have an ability to demonstrate a variety of styles including ballet, tap, modern, popular dance and contemporary movement

Call for Mural Artists
LA Commons South LA Alleys Mural Project
LA Commons is searching for 3 mural design artists
to work with a core Youth Arts Team
(Age 15-25) to collect community stories,
attend a neighborhood story summit and to design murals, in scale, for three
South LA Alley ways. Three artists will each work with a small team. Youth Arts
team members will meet weekly and be paid a stipend for their work. LA Commons will coordinate project partners,
supply acquisition, workshop space and recruiting the Youth Arts team. One lead artist will be hired to work with
the team. Part Three of the project –
painting the murals will be a separate project and contract.

The ideal candidate will have a professional dance background and experience teaching at-risk youth. This experience is more important than specific dance genre.
