Gamble Curator at the Autry Museum of the American West
The Gamble Curator is responsible for the interpretation and development of collections, exhibitions, publications, core galleries, and programs that explore the Twentieth-Century American West and popular culture, especially as related to film, literature, television, and music. The Gamble Curator is also responsible for the significant collection of historical firearms at the Autry and the on-going development of donor, collector, and trustee relationships to enhance and interpret these collections.
Museum experience and a MA or PhD (preferred) in a relevant field such as American Studies, History, or Museum Studies is required.

Under supervision, the Cartooning/Visual Arts Instructor I will teach basic cartoon and anime drawing skills, with additional visual arts teaching as required. They are responsible for preparing lesson plans and instructing 2-dimensional visual arts classes in weekly, eight – ten week quarters.
