The Skirball Cultural Center seeks a motivated, experienced, and creative professional to serve as a limited-term Graphic/Web Designer in the Communications and Marketing department. The Graphic/Web Designer will create a variety of promotional materials—both print and electronic—on a tight schedule. He/She will have temporary responsibility managing the Skirball website.
The position is full-time (40 hours/week) for a limited term of no more than five months beginning April 15, 2013. Candidates must be available to work on site at the Skirball during the term.
Responsibilities:
-Participate in developing approaches to promoting the Skirball's exhibitions, programs, and entrepreneurial initiatives to general and target audiences.

Since 1993, the Getty Foundation's Multicultural Undergraduate Internship program has provided full-time work opportunities to more than 2,300 undergraduates, exposing them to careers in the arts. Aiming to increase diversity in and provide support for Los Angeles-area museums and visual arts organizations, the program provides funding for internships at these organizations. The Foundation's support enables organizations to host students in full-time, paid internships for ten weeks during the summer.
