The Production Coordinator is a key member of the Levitt Pavilion - Greater
Los Angeles & Pasadena staff, and is responsible for the overall production
of performances and special events. The position will report to the
Executive Director, and coordinate with the Artistic Director, Programs
Manager, Development Director, Sponsorship Coordinator, and Community
Outreach Coordinators. (The Production Coordiantor will supervise the
Seasonal Site Coordinators).

The City of Torrance Community Services Department is currently accepting applications for a Recreation Specialist (Exhibition Preparator) for the Torrance Art Museum, a program of the Cultural Services Division.
DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, the Recreation Specialist (Exhibition Preparator) works mostly during the times when exhibits at the Torrance Art Museum (TAM) are being installed and taken down. Hours are variable and cannot exceed 999 during the fiscal year, July 1 - June 30.

We need a stage manager for "When The Past Comes Back...", an award winning play by Mildred Dumas. It will take place June 21-23, 2013 in Inglewood, CA. We are very small and only a small stipend can be paid.
The stage is very small but we have managed to make it work.
The play is about a reunion of sorority sisters 30 years after graduation but the purpose of the reunion is a real surprise. Would like a response by the end of April.

The Collaborative is a partnership between the ACLB, Museum of Latin American Art, Lyon Communities and the City of Long Beach Development Services. The Collaborative presents exhibitions that raise awareness of both emerging artists and new innovative approaches to art.
The Gallery Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of development, installation, promotion and coordination of The Collaborative's rotating exhibitions and programs. The Gallery Manager works Wednesday - Friday from 11:00am to 5:00pm and supervises the Gallery Assistant on the weekends.
The Autry seeks a Collections Management Associate Technician to assist
with an initiative to preserve the museum's Native American artifacts.
Reporting to the Senior Collections Management Technician and
Packing/Logistics Coordinator, the candidate will assist in designing
and implementing protocols for the re-housing of objects in the
collection. Tasks will include: cleaning and condition reporting objects
in the permanent collection, fabricating storage mounts and furnishings,
and monitoring storage conditions. In addition, the Associate Technician
will assist with stocking supplies and mass-producing materials for
collections use. This is a limited-term position expected to last
through the end of 2013.

Metro Creative Services is seeking to contract with a professional photographer with expertise in environmental portrait photography. The photographer will provide portraits of artists commissioned by Metro to create public artworks for the Metro transit system.
Scope of Work
• Photographer shall shoot numerous frames to obtain various exposures, and perspectives/viewpoints of each artist in her/his studio.
• Photographer shall present a broad selection of images from which Metro shall select and approve the final 4 deliverables for each artist's portrait.
METRO EL MONTE STATION
New Public Art Opportunities
Metro is seeking four artists for El Monte Station.
The two-level El Monte Station opened in 2012, and is located at the corner of Santa Anita Avenue and Ramona Boulevard in the City of El Monte, 12 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The station provides transit service on numerous lines for Metro, Foothill Transit, LAX FlyAway airport shuttle and Greyhound and serves over 18,000 customers a day. A bus rapid transit service, the Silver Line, is the only transit service that connects to all Metro Rail lines.
Create Now is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of youth in need through arts mentoring and experiences. We are collaborating with a major health provider to supplement their theatre program.
Create Now seeks two Recycle Artists to teach four classes that will take place twice a week for two hours at a time, between June 10-June 24 at schools in Compton and North Hollywood. There will be 30 students ages 11-13 in each class. The goal is for the students to create unique cities out of recycled materials. Everything will be supplied.
